Opened in autumn 2007, Daniel Libeskinds Glass Courtyard modeled on the design “Sukkah” (Hebrew for “tabernacle”) offers room for extraordinary events of up to 650 people. The glass roof spanning the 650 square meters of the inner courtyard of the baroque building is supported by four free standing pillars. The glass front of the light-flooded room can be widely opened and offers a view over the spacious museum garden.
